I’m over people like Ed Gillespie making me crazy by what they say. I’m dulled to the relentless BS from the Right. They’re over the top – not just the entertainers like Rush and Beck – but all of them… the very people who make policy and legislate in this country have marched in lockstep so far right that nothing really surprises me anymore.

But what really pisses me off is so called news commentators not calling these people on their hypocrisy, lies and half-truths.

Of course Romney has no shame at all. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, into a religion that condones lying to non coreligionists and tells him he will become a god on his own planet when he dies, and truly believes that the presidency is the next big thing he can buy for himself, and is quite sure he’s entitled to make the purchase. If I were him, I’d be using my considerable fortune to fund people working on a cure for ALS, the disease that at some point in the fairly near future will decimate his wife. Why is nobody talking about that? Do we really want a president who is distracted from the job by a dying wife? Elizabeth Edwards disease made me discount John Edwards before I knew much else about him, though his “two America’s” resonated more with me than anything anyone else said in the early days.
